About

Me as a deeply focused child

Background

I built my first website at 12 years old (a Naruto fan site, obviously). A year later, I wrote a QBASIC vocab quiz program to help me study for French class. I got a B- in French but an A+ in coding, so I guess it all worked out.

I did a degree in philosophy at UCLA where I specialized in formal logic and overlong debates. My senior thesis was "Interpreting Probability in Quantum Mechanics."

My interests include drawing, writing, napping, tv-watching, traveling, petting my dog until she gets tired of me, and occasionally coding this website.

My Career

These days, I'm a product leader with 9+ years of experience shipping AI-powered products. I began in the startup world, where I was the product manager for natural language processing algorithms at Soulmates.ai (before transformer models were even a thing!)

Then at BCG X, Boston Consulting Group's tech incubator arm, I led teams building AI-powered products and defining AI strategy for the world's biggest companies.

I'm passionate about ensuring AI has a net-positive impact on humanity. In that spirit, I co-founded a group called Tech x Society at BCG, which included organizing panels such as AI and Human Rights and The Pay for Privacy Economy.
